Sit back and take a look at the world This is one hell of a crazy place People will tell you you cannot win Just smile at them and never give in Just keep wonderin why Just keep wonderin why Just keep wonderin why The the day that I die Blue skies are slowy turning to back Birds fly and why don't them come back Green grass is fading gently to brown Flowers wilt and die as the world spins round Just keep wonderin why Just keep wonderin why Just keep wonderin why The the day that I die Fast cars and fast life whizzing by People they don't smile or say hi When will this world learn Adding fuel to the fire will cause it to burn Just keep wonderin why Just keep wonderin why Just keep wonderin why Till the day that I die

Mr. Hartley 03:00
Old man Hartley was plane flyin man he flew his plane from here to Japan and on his way he caught in a big fight that just didn't seem to sit with him quite right He's flyin high over Ho Chi Min trail droppin flares so that bombs can wail staring down at the destruction below he thinks to himself I just want to go Back to a place where there are no bombs or wars what is it that we're doing all this fightin for when will we all learn to love and get along can't we all agree that everyone wants a beautiful life He grew up hard and he grew of fast he lived each day as if it was his last oh and how the time past it past it past it past Now bombs have fallin and towns below in flames filled with sadness he wonders who's to blame and now there's just a wall that's full of names the wounds are gone but the pain still remains We want a place where there are no bombs or wars what is it that we're doing all this fightin for when will we all learn to love and get along can't we all agree that everyone wants a beautiful life The years rolled by and he thought that we would learn We're all feed lies they make us compromise compromise Now choose this or that out of fear don't ask questions of you might disappear don't you think it's time we take a stand let's all join hands we can bring down the man We want a place where there are no bombs or wars what is it that we're doing all this fightin for when will we all learn to love and get along can't we all agree that everyone wants a beautiful life
